Third Party Reuse and Recycling Credit Scheme  

Charities, community groups or voluntary organisations in North Yorkshire may be able to claim money in the form of a reuse or recycling credit from North Yorkshire County Council if the group collects household waste from within the county and reuses or recycles it rather than sending it to landfill.

The third party recycling and reuse credit rate for 2009/10 is £39.58 per tonne.

Organisations can claim credits for many waste materials and reusable goods including paper, aluminium cans and packaging, steel cans, glass bottles textiles, furniture, and electrical goods.

To claim reuse and/or recycling credits organisations must first register with the third party reuse and recycling credit scheme.You can download a Third Party Registration form below

Organisation already registered with the scheme are required to claim biannually for April to September on or before 28 October and for October to March on or before 28 April. As a registered organisation you will have already recieved a claim form and the requirements of the scheme. If you have misplaced any of these you can download them below.
