RHS Harlow Carr, HarrogateEveryone is welcome to come along to this annual plant fair, whether you are a beginner needing advice on starting a compost bin, or an expert wanting to learn about accelerating the process or moving onto a new bin, and everything in between!
Free Love Food Hate Waste training for green business champions and community leadersFri 10th May, 12.30 - 4.30pmRHS Harlow Carr, Harrogate

This training session is suitable for anyone working in a North Yorkshire business or community group who can communicate positive messages about reducing food waste to their colleagues, friends, family and/or community.

The session will cover:

· the significance of food waste, its causes and consequences,

· how you can engage with others on Love Food Hate Waste,

· where to access resources to help you spread the message.

Spa Gardens open day, Ripon
Sun 2nd June, 11am - 4pm
The Spa Gardens, RiponThis event is showcasing the beautiful gardens and bandstand in Ripon.  Our Rotters will be joined by local horticultural groups such as the Walled Garden, Workhouse Garden, Ripon in Bloom and the Ripon Allotments.  Come along for composting hints and tips.

Dalbyology

Sun 2nd June, 10.30am - 4pm
Dalby Forest Visitor Centre, YO18 7LT

A family day out at Dalby Forest with birds of prey displays, stream dipping, paper making, a BBQ and much more. 

The Rotters will be providing invaluable composting advice. Novice or expert - we're sure you'll learn something new about composting. 

We'll also be making mini-wormaries with the young visitors so come along and see how they magically turn food into compost.

Forest entrance £7 per car, free entry to the event.

North Yorkshire County ShowSun 16th June, 8am - 4pmOtterington Hall, between Northallerton and Thirsk

The Rotters will be on hand to give great advice on reducing your food waste and how to produce great compost for your garden.
